Custom artwork

Commissions are a wonderful opportunity for the client to engage in part of the creative process. This results in a work of art that perfectly suits their needs. Through collaboration, the artist brings the client’s vision to life.

Custom artwork discussed in person, by phone or email.

Clients determine the general subject and size of the painting. Reference photos of the piece subject can be provided by the artist and/or client. If desired, clients can send photos of the intended display space to assist in scale and orientation decisions.

Clients determine the general subject and size of the painting. Reference photos are provided by the artist or client. If desired, clients can send photos of the room and wall they wish to display the artwork.

sketch

Composition drawing reviewed in person or by email.

Once the subject and artwork size has been determined, a drawing of the artwork is done and emailed to the client for review. If desired, changes to the composition are made at this stage.

Contract is drawn up with a schedule of completion.

Upon approval of the concept drawing by the client, a contract is drawn-up at this juncture. We ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit. We want the client to be 100% satisfied with the final artwork. If the client is not, they can apply their deposit to the purchase of another painting by the artist at any time in the future.

deliver

Commission is personally delivered or shipped.

Once the painting is completed, photos of the work are emailed to the client to confirm that they are pleased with the piece. The final balance is requested upon approval of the photo.

Arrangements are made to deliver the custom artwork to the home or business of the client if based in Arizona.
